Primary responsibilities for this position include interaction with customers, company sales and/or service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales service functions, including (but not limited to) purchase order requirements, request for quote, delivery enquiries, trouble shooting.
Responsibilities and Duties
Prepares documents/system processing related to new order requirements, RFQs and RMAs, using a state-of-the art ERP computer system ( MFG-PRO) to key in incoming product orders, interfacing with customers on the phone and through email, acknowledging orders to customers in writing, and processing quotations to customers – all with a limited response time. Ensures order/quote/RMA information accessible by sorting and filing documents/forms electronically & paper format.
Qualifications and Skills
1-3 years of related experience is required. Individual should be familiar with a personal computer (PC). Experience in Word and Outlook is required. Knowledge of Excel is preferred. Knowledge of office machines such as copiers and facsimile machines is also required. An eye for detail, and good writing skills is required. The ability to work under high stress, maintain focus and have good organizational skills is also a requirement.
Must have manufacturing Customer Service experience.
